PVH Corp, the US fashion group behind Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, has appointed Patricia Gabriel as chief supply chain officer and global head of operations, drawing on her extensive experience at rival luxury conglomerate Capri Holdings.

Gabriel will join the New York-listed company in the fourth quarter, succeeding David Savman, who will focus exclusively on his role as global brand president for Calvin Klein. She will report directly to Stefan Larsson, PVH's chief executive.

Track record in luxury goods

Gabriel brings more than 25 years of supply chain and operations experience, most recently serving as chief supply chain officer at Capri Holdings, where she oversaw operations for the Michael Kors, Jimmy Choo and Versace brands. Her career spans senior roles at consumer goods multinationals Mondelez International and AB InBev, where she managed end-to-end supply chains across Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia.

Her appointment comes as PVH seeks to strengthen operational capabilities to support its multi-year growth strategy, known as the PVH+ Plan, which aims to position Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger as leading global lifestyle brands.

Strategic focus on operational efficiency

Larsson emphasised Gabriel's consumer-focused approach and track record in driving growth through operational excellence. "Patricia's deep expertise and proven ability to unlock value through demand- and data-driven solutions will create new opportunities to further accelerate our PVH+ Plan progress," he said.

In her new role, Gabriel will oversee global operations with end-to-end responsibility from product development to consumer delivery, working across PVH's brand, regional and functional divisions to integrate the company's operating infrastructure.

Gabriel described the appointment as an opportunity to leverage supply chain optimisation as a competitive advantage. "Operational excellence and supply chain optimization will be true competitive advantages that fuel growth and innovation," she said.

Gabriel will be based at PVH's global headquarters in New York. The company operates in more than 40 countries and has a history spanning over 140 years in the fashion industry.
